Todoist: Task Management for Work and Life

When one list isn’t enough, Todist comes in to manage it all. Keep track of tasks, organize lists in categories, set deadlines, and finally tackle everything you have to do. For those wanting to keep their to-do lists by project, Todist is fantastic for easily navigating multiple lists across projects while managing different deadlines. The Today and Upcoming views will automatically pull tasks from every project based on those deadlines so you can always track what you need to do next without losing track of what’s to come. While there are many task applications with robust features, what sets Todist apart is how easy it is to add a task You can easily set up a reminder of tasks by quickly typing them into the app, just as you would send a text to a friend. The app interprets the message and creates a corresponding task based on the language used. Additionally, you can employ hashtags to categorize reminders. For instance, if you type, “Send in the final draft of paper tomorrow by 4 p.m. #journalism,” the app will schedule a reminder for 4 p.m. the next day within your “Journalism” project. If you’re working with a team you can easily assign tasks to others and it will show up in their project. The app has desktop and mobile versions, over 60 integrations (including Slack and Alexa), and the free version includes a great deal of functionality. If you’re looking to get organized with ease, check out Todist.
