Winning Together: An Aster Award for the Olympic Medical Center Website
Posted
07.25.2020Our client, Olympic Medical Center, just won an Aster Award for their new website we designed and developed. The Aster Awards Program is an elite competition recognizing the nation’s most talented healthcare marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in advertising. It’s always great news to hear a project we’ve worked on has been recognized and we were thrilled for the opportunity to work with the OMC team on their website redesign.
We worked closely with the Olympic Medical Center (OMC) team on designing and building their website for their specific needs. The Jennergy team sought to create a website that embraces their evolving brand while still embracing their brand’s legacy. With the user experience top of mind, the new WordPress website brings an improved navigation, custom provider search and overall a cleaner look.
The hospital’s website is critical in getting key information to patients, whether it be finding which of their many locations best serve their needs or finding the right provider. OMC’s site needed an update to streamline the information so people can easily find what they were looking for with a refreshed look to communicate the top-notch care the healthcare provider gives to the Port Angeles community. It was important to give our client a site they could easily update and maintain to communicate with their patients and community, while also streamlining the user experience.
Our design process starts with wireframes, giving the site structure and creates hierarchy. With the approval of the wireframes, we move to design, giving life to the functionality determined by the wireframes. After tweaks and styling, the website is ready to move to development to become the website you see today. A great deal of custom functionality, collaboration, and research went in to the redesign of the Olympic Medical Center website and we’re happy to see the work pay off for the OMC team!
